Leadership, School Based Management and Education Quality

Abstract

The role of a leader in human relations is closely related to the leadership style that is displayed. A leader is expected to display the leadership style of all situations depending on conditions and situations as well as to subordinates. Simultaneously that effective leadership, school management, will be able to improve the quality of an organization. Based on the formulation of the problem above, the purpose of this study is to find out as follows: 1) The partial relationship of the role of leadership to improving the quality of education. 2) The partial relationship of school-based management to improving the quality of education. 3) Simultaneous relationship between the role of leadership and school-based management on improving the quality of education.

This study uses a quantitative approach, which is research that emphasizes its analysis of numerical data (numbers) processed by statistical methods. The sample in this study was 45 teachers in the 2019/2020 school year.

Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the conclusions that can be drawn are: 1) The first hypothesis is that there is a partial relationship between the principal's leadership and school quality improvement in Karangjati II Public Elementary School Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency. 2) The second hypothesis is that there is a partial relationship between School-Based Management and school quality improvement in Karangjati II Public Elementary School, Pandaan District, Pasusruan Regency. 3) The third hypothesis is tested that there is a simultaneous relationship between the relationship between the leadership of the school principal and School-Based Management with the improvement of the quality of schools in Karangjati II Public Elementary School, Pandaan Subdistrict, Pasuruan Regency.
