Implementasi STEAM Education dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Problem Solving Siswa Sekolah Menengah di Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi STEAM Education dalam meningkatkan keterampilan problem solving siswa sekolah menengah di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method sequential explanatorydengan melibatkan 400 siswa pada tahap kuantitatif dan 30 partisipan (siswa dan guru) pada tahap kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes problem solving, kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan keterampilan problem solving siswa setelah penerapan STEAM, dengan dampak positif pada motivasi, keterlibatan, serta kreativitas siswa. Hambatan utama implementasi meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas, kompetensi guru, rigiditas kurikulum, dan waktu. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa STEAM dapat dijadikan strategi inovatif dalam pendidikan sekolah menengah untuk menyiapkan generasi yang kritis, kreatif, dan adaptif menghadapi tuntutan abad ke-21.
