PERBANDINGAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PENDUDUK DATARAN TINGGI DAN DATARAN RENDAH TERHADAP KECENDERUNGAN ANEMIA

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the amount of hemoglobin in red blood cells is below normal, this occurs when a low hemoglobin levels that can be caused by inadequate intake of foods containing vitamin B12 iron and acid volat. Hemoglobin is the oxygen-carrying metalprotein containing iron in the red blood cells, the hemoglobin molecule consists of globin, apoprotein and four groups hem of an organic molecule with one iron atom.
The preparation of this paper is based on the examination conducted in two places, namely in the health center Plaosan Magetan region (plateau) and at health centers Sukomulyo Gresik (lowland) by the number of respondents each - each 30 people. It is used to determine differences in hemoglobin levels possessed by the people in the lowlands and the highlands. The hemoglobin in this paper with Sahli method. From this study we can conclude there is a difference between the levels of Hb in the highland and lowland, with significant p-value of 0.000. In this study population in the lowlands have a tendency of anemia 70% more than the population in the uplands that only 13.3%.
