BYSTANDER CPR DALAM UPAYA KESIAPSIAGAAN BENCANA PADA SISWA SMA

Kesiapsiagaan bencana semakin mendapat perhatian dari semua masyarakat, baik bencana alami atau buatan manusia. Bencana teknologi, insiden mengancam jiwa, dan bencana alam menguji kemampuan masyarakat untuk mempersiapkan diri dan merespons keadaan darurat. Keterlibatan bystander yang cepat dan tepat dapat menolong korban. Bystander CPR adalah seseorang di lokasi kejadian yang secara sukarela untuk membantu orang lain, dapat melakukan resusitasi jantung paru pada korban yang mengalami henti jantung untuk menyelamatkan nyawa dan mencegah cedera lebih lanjut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengaplikasikan pelatihan CPR terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam upaya pembentukan bystander CPR pada siswa SMA Kartika IV-3 Surabaya.
Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasy experimental. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Kartika IV-3 Surabaya. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Besar sampel kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan masing-masing 30 sampel. Prosedur pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuisioner dan lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan Paired T Test dan Independent T Test.
Hasil analisis data didapatkan perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap variabel pengetahuan antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan dengan nilai p = 0,003 (nilai p < 0,05) dan variabel keterampilan tindakan CPR dengan nilai p = 0.011 (nilai p < 0,05).
Pelatihan CPR dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam melakukan tindakan CPR dalam upaya membentuk bystander CPR di siswa SMA.
