HUBUNGAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN DAN LEUKOSIT DENGAN KEJADIAN FEBRIS (DEMAM) PADA ANAK USIA 6-12 TAHUN

Abstract

Febris or fever is an important health problem, because the condition of body temperature above 38 ° C then should be aware of the symptoms of a particular disease. Febris can be said of an illness but not all febrile is a disease, but febris is an immune process that is against bacteria or viruses. Febris can also trigger a decrease in hemoglobin levels due to the high fever conditions that will occur is the increase in metabolic rate. The metabolic rate increases by 10% for every 1 ° C rise in body temperature and increases three to five times during shivering and will increase the need for oxygen, fluid, and calorin. Therefore, if the body temperature increases then the more fluid and oxygen needed. The linkage of leukocyte levels to determine whether the occurrence of febrile due to invection. The leukocyte examination can not state that a person is infected, so it can be stated that someone is infected if an LED examination (Blood Sugar Rate) is performed. This study to determine the relationship of hemoglobin and leukocyte levels with febrile events in children aged 6-12 years. The research method used secondary data with data type ratios and intervals, which were collected retrospectively by using Pearson correlation test. The population used was all patients with febrile who collected as much as 40. This study was conducted on 17 April to 10 May 2017. The sample used was taken randomly as much as 22. From these results can be concluded that there is a relationship between hemoglobin with febrile events and also there is a relationship of leukocytes with febrile events.
