MANAJEMEN KERJASAMA SEKOLAH DENGAN DUNIA USAHA / DUNIA INDUSTRI (DU/DI) DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI DAN KREATIVITAS SISWA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN (Studi Kasus di SMK PGRI 1 Gresik)

Abstract

The research in this thesis is the school and the company can improve the quality of
cooperation more deeply, with measures involving management functions such a planning,
organizing, actuating, and controlling conducted to organize a relationship between educational
institutions with the business and industrial world.
This study has the objective to describe (1) Planning in corporation of schools with The
Business and Industry World in upgrading competency and creativity of students (2) Organization in
corporation of schools with The Business and Industry World in upgrading competency and creativity
of students, (3) Implementation in corporation of schools with The Business and Industry World in
upgrading competency and creativity of students?, and (4) Evaluation in corporation of schools with
The Business and Industry World in upgrading competency and creativity of students.
The research is a qualitative descriptive research. Methods of data collection using: (1)
observation, (2), documentation, and (3) interview. Data analysis techniques used are single data
analysis in SMK PGRI 1 Gresik.
From these results, the authors conclude that:(1) Planning in program industry work practices
with the Business and Industry World in the synchronization of the curriculum, created memorandum
of Understanding about school and the Business and Industry World, planning of prepared students
(mapping competence), and planning of place for industry work practices (mapping place in the
Business and Industry World) be competence students. (2) Organizing in program industry work
practices with the Business and Industry World by division of structure organization, division of
labour, and placement of students about. (3) Implementation in program industry work practices with
The Business and Industry World can flexible be principle in school about. Be training, industry work
practices on place, and recruitment students are comply with a requirement in the Business and
Industry World. And (4) Evaluation in program industry work practices with The Business and
Industry World can be assessmed from The Business and Industry World and used form assessment in
the school.
