JARAK AMAN PEMBUATAN SUMUR GALI DENGAN SUMBER PENGOTOR SECARA BAKTERIOLOGI DI DUSUN SANGGRAHAN DESA PISANG KECAMATAN PATIANROWO KABUPATEN NGANJUK

Abstrak

Water is the life source of  most important  for humans eg for bathing, cooking, ablution before prayers,  and even water serves as a healer who can not be underestimated. Almost in every body of water there is a bacteria of certain kind. The presence of these organisms is an indication of water contaminated by feces and there is very likely that the water contains a pathogenic bacteria. In the placement of the wells, the water which are in the circle of  influence of the wells flow toward the well should not be part of the chemical contamination areas or bacteriological contamination that are within range circle of influence of the wells. According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 416/Menkes/Per/1X/1990 on the specification wells for clean water sources, that the horizontal distance of the wells from the flow of ground water or the source of fouling (leach field/tank septic tanks) move toward upstream of not less than 11 meters, while distance of the wells  for communal to the housing is more than 50 meters by MPN index of 50. In order to avoid contamination of the wells must be considered is the distance of wells with latrines, pit for waste water (cesspool, seepage pit) and other sources of fouling. The distance depends on the circumstances and the slope of the land. The purpose of this study to determine whether the water of wells in the Hamlet of Sanggrahan Village of Banana  District of Patianrowo Nganjuk accordance with standard of PERMENKES No. 416/Menkes/Per/1X/1990 on water quality requirements.
The type of this study is an experimental study using quantitative descriptive method. The assay was conducted on a sample of water wells to determine a Coliform bacteria as indicators of pollution of water wells in the Hamlet of Sanggrahan Village of Banana District of Patianrowo Nganjuk. The total sample of 18 samples taken from the wells water of the population within distance more than 10 meters from the source of defilement. After conducted the examination of the MPN Coliform with the variety of 5.5.5  obtained  the results of 72.2% not meet limits of the health requirement i.e. the distance of wells less than 14 meters, and 27.8% already meet limits of the health requirement i.e. the distance of more than 14 meters.
