PENGALAMAN PERUBAHAN SEKSUAL PADA PRIA DIABETES

ABSTRAK
Diabetes mellitus menjadi salah satu penyebab organis utama gangguan fungsi seksual pria yang berefek pada kompleksitas gangguan seksual. Insiden perubahan seksual pria diabetes semakin meningkat seiring meningkatnya prevalensi diabetes dengan komplikasi, dan sampai saat ini belum pernah dilakukan eksplorasi mendalam tentang pengalaman seksual mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh gambaran pengalaman perubahan seksual pria diabetes di RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Jakarta dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi. Dilakukan wawancara mendalam kepada 7 partisipan. Temuan memberikan informasi rinci tentang pengalaman perubahan seksual dengan 2 tema utama, yaitu gangguan fungsi seksual dan perubahan rasa. Disimpulkan bahwa perubahan seksual yang terbesar adalah disfungsi ereksi, kemudian ejakulasi dan hasrat terganggu sehingga mengalami ketidakpuasan dan ketidaknikmatan serta menurunnya kekuatan fisik.

Diabetes mellitus becomes one of the main organic causes of sexual dysfunction of diabetic man who has an effect on the complexity of sexual disorders. The incidence of sexual change on a diabetic man is increasing in line with the increasing prevalence of diabetes with complication, and until now it has not been done an in-depth study of their experiences. The research purpose is to identify the sex change in diabetic man at RSUPN Dr. CiptoMangunkusumo Jakarta,
The research design is qualitative with the phenomenology approach. In-depth interview of sexual change experience was conducted on 7 participants by concern on research ethics.
The findings provide detailed information on diabetic man sexual change experiences, two main themes were derived, and those are sexual function disorders and feeling the change.
Concluded that the biggest sexual change is an erectile dysfunction, then ejaculation and desire are disrupted, so the patient experiences dissatisfaction and discomfort and decreases physical strength.
